Meet the Bodysmith
I've been on the other side of the table
One misdiagnosis. Then another. Then another. Chondromalacia. Patellofemoral pain syndrome. Femoral nerve entrapment. One chiropractor, four physical therapists, an orthopedist. Nobody could explain why I was in pain. Not correctly, anyway.
So I started digging, and I found Shirley Sahrmann's research on movement impairment syndromes. For the first time my pain made sense. Not as a diagnosis, but as a movement problem with a mechanical cause. That changed everything about how I work.
How I work
If you come in for sports therapy, we start by looking at how you actually move. Joint mechanics, the positions that bother you, tests built to produce a real theory instead of a guess. Then it's targeted hands-on work, and you leave knowing what I found and what to do about it.
And if you just want a genuinely good deep tissue massage with none of that, book deep tissue and get on the table. Both are honest work.
I don't diagnose and I don't prescribe. What I do is give your body the attention it deserves and actually explain what I find.
Who I work with
Most of my clients have already tried something. They've been told to rest, to stretch, or to just manage it, and handed generic programs that never accounted for how they actually move.
I work with regular people carrying chronic pain, and I have a deep love for the sport of bodybuilding and the athletes who push hard enough to need someone who understands what that demands.
If you want someone to tell you what's wrong without actually solving it, I'm not your guy.
